    Methods of Use:

    Add 4-8 drops/100 mls, (3-4 oz) water in your diffuser or to a pot of hot water once removed from heat, to cheer you or to calm anxious feelings. Also diffuse at night for children or adults to help settle for falling asleep

    Add 4-8 drops first to a Tablespoon of milk or honey, then to a full bath to help detoxify or support body systems to rid cells of waste; to elevate mood or calm with stress or nervous exhaustion.

    Dilute up to 2 drops/teaspoon of carrier oil, unscented cream or lotion and apply to abdominal area for digestive issues, gas, indigestion, hiccoughs.

    Dilute up to 2% max in carrier oil for full body massage.

    Blends well with

    other citrus essential oils such as Bergamot and Lemon, sweet spices such as Cinnamon, Clove and Nutmeg, florals, such as Orange Blossom and Rose, and wood oils such as Sandalwood. A lovely addition to almost any blend of oils, both for it's pleasant scent as well as its therapeutic properties.

    Safety Information:

    Mandarin Essential Oil is very mild, non-irritating, non-sensitizing and non-toxic, and most people love its fragrance, therefore it's a great choice for use with children, those in fragile health and the elderly, but with these populations, always dilute by half, what you would use for adults, i.e., 4-8 drops in a bath for adults is 2-4 drops for children, elderly or frail individuals.

    Mandarin is mildly phototoxic, meaning it can cause a mild increase in the effects of the sun's rays on the skin, as compared to other citrus essential oils, but do take precautions in direct sunlight and use sunscreen following application of Mandarin essential oil to the skin.

    100% PURE RED MANDARIN ESSENTIAL OIL, The name Mandarin, comes from the fruit that was a traditional gift to the Mandarins of China. There are two varieties of this oil; Mandarin, mainly from Europe, and Tangerine, mainly from the United States. Mandarin and Tangerine are considered the same botanical species although there is a slight difference in fragrance between the two. Mandarin tends to be preferred for therapeutic aromatherapy

    Red Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) is one of the safest essential oils and is particularly recommended for children and for use during pregnancy. Mandarin is an uplifting, cheering, soothing oil. It helps to calm the nervous system, and its relaxing properties make it effective for soothing restlessness, and hyperactivity in children. It has a slightly hypnotic effect and is therefore useful for calming an over-active mind and promoting a restful night's sleep. It is also reputed to be useful for alleviating nausea, having a similar action to Ginger and Peppermint essential oils.

Similar to Tangerine Essential oil, it uplifts our spirits, soothes the mind for a peaceful sleep, calms our digestion and helps us deal with stress.     Red Mandarine Oil has therapeutically similar benefits to Tangerine and Orange Oil, but its scent is considered tarter and more complex than Tangerine. Its calming properties are also more pronounced.
